Organist and Choir Director Appointed

 

 

New Choir Director and Organist appointed – the Parish is please to announce the appointment of William Woods as the new Choir Director and Organist of Catholic University Church.

Formerly an organ scholar at the Pro-Cathedral and organist at St. Andrew’s Church, Westland Row, William has performed numerous organ recitals. He has regularly accompanied liturgies organised by the National Centre for Liturgy at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth and was a Director of the Contemporary Singers Society in DCU. He has sung as a member of various choirs including the Palestrina Choir and the Lassus Scholars. He has worked part time as a conductor with the Whitefriar Street Choir.
